Hi! My name is Donna Knox and my business name is Articles of a Domestic Goddess. I crochet finished items to sell on Etsy and I sell the patterns for my original crochet designs on Craftsy and Ravelry. I am married to my soul mate and my equal in this world. We have 2 children, a boy and a toddler girl. I learned basic crochet stitches when I was about 8. I half-finished some items, nothing major (or recognizable lol). I got more serious about finishing items when I got pregnant – my kids are definitely my reason to crochet. It was easy to get hooked as my husband and kids love it and support me endlessly. My son has sold to all his teachers and bus drivers (he’s 6) and the librarian wants my number… lol I am now a sahm. I’m used to fast paces, high stress levels, I get bored easily and I can’t sit still. It might be medical or it might be the large amounts of coffee I ingest. I’m not sure. lol
I’ve been designing officially since the beginning of 2014. Since then, I’ve put out 95 patterns and various Ebooks — that # is rising steadily. I tried to blog about 5 years ago about gardening, but I wasn’t interested enough I guess lol Crochet has kicked my blog off. I do love EVERYTHING domestic goddess! My blog was actually born out of necessity as my Facebook friends were getting tired of me sharing this garden and that over the top recipe or cooking thing I tried, or that bunny breeding escapade. I find that no matter the hobby, I put my whole self into it. I can’t just have a garden, I have to supply local food chains; I can’t just own two bunnies, I must create a bunny empire! (true stories… lol) The same with crochet, and I have yet to see the end of this tunnel! The horizon is still FAR into the distance!
I am trying to find the pattern for the school bus hat with earflaps. crochet for adults. Do you know where I can find it?
Sure! Right here! http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/school-bus-hat-adult-child-size

Hello! I have a print out of a chart you created on sizing hoods for baby sweaters. I found it VERY useful, and am almost finished creating my first knitted baby sweater e-book which I hope to sell on Ravelry. I would like to include this info in the appendix along with the Craft Yarn Council information on standard sizing. I can’t locate the page/chart, and of course want your approval or suggestions. Thank you.
Hi Kathleen, Can you please pm me on Facebook? I would love to speak to you about this.
