Traditional Education Models

The Traditional Education model uses workbooks and the homeschool day much resembles the day in a public school classroom. Check boxes for daily work, tests, grading, and teacher manuals are common. Genesis and Abeka are on the lighter side on price ($100-$200 or less) Sets like Sonlight can cost more ($700-$1000). Many use these because they believe that they need a boxed curriculum with check boxes and a set plan. This is not a complete list, but these are the most popular options.
