Lesson 4 – The Decrease Stitches
The basics on a decrease stitch is this: You will work ONE stitch over TWO Stitches, therefore decreasing the amount of stitches in each row. Each decrease stitch, no matter whether it is a single crochet, half double crochet or double crochet stitch will have two posts, but the top of each stitch will be worked so that it ends up with ONE stitch up top.
