- MEP Math - living math - free math - Hungarian Math - 15 minute lessons - Many Charlotte Mason-ers follow this one. It can be overwhelming when you first go in there, but those who follow the program say it is easier once you've done it. Spiral Math
- Easy Peasy Math - Free- Lee Giles wrote Easy Peasy and Genesis. Easy Peasy is her free math. Her Mental Math is amazing. Not Living, but still a very quality system. (Don't let the word easy fool you.) Most children can man either the workbook or online version of Easy Peasy on their own with little to no help from parent. Spiral Math
- Easy Peasy - All in one High School - 9th-12th Grade Free Math Classes - Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry/Pre-calculus, Calculus
- Genesis Math - A Mind for Math - one book with 180 lessons to be used for multiple years. (Last 50 lessons are more like review, so if you like to have a shorter year or longer year, this can be versatile.) Very Christian, sapping in Christianity. Uses Jesus Parables from Matthew to teach lessons. Separating the wheat from the chaff might be subtraction or division, counting the lines of genealogy of Jesus, etc. Lessons to be taught schoolroom style but can be used for single children. Great for teaching multiple children on different levels, filling in gaps for one child, or getting a child ahead! Wonderful math that teaches math reasoning. You teach it, you can let them use a workbook or not. Even if they have the workbook they cannot do it on their own without the teacher book. Each lesson has work for 4 levels of children. Spiral Math - Expect to spend $25 for the Teacher book and $8 for workbooks for a, b, c and d work. However, you could get by with having the child write in a journal with this curriculum. It would not tedious to do that with this one.

- B=2nd grade
- C=3rd grade
- D=4th grade
- Saxon Math - Common Core Aligned workbook style math - This seems to be very common among the classical style homeschoolers. I also use their placement tests to test my kid's math if I worry about falling behind. Expect to spend $100-$150 for each level for this curriculum.
- Teaching Textbooks - Visual Math - 100-130 lessons in each level. Many children can man this curriculum on their own. Spiral Math. I also use their placement tests to test my kid's math if I worry about falling behind. Expect to spend about $55 for the complete online version or $150 for offline version.
- Life of Fred - Math in story book form - answer 10 questions at the end of each chapter. Spiral Math - Around $130 for each set and each set spans years for the younger courses. About 18 chapters in each book - Some use as a complete math, and some use only to supplement. (Actually, he has language books, books that teach kindergarteners things like colors, and chemistry books also) It's a neat little series. This is a Christian author, but I use this set and I have seen nothing to allude to Christianity within the books.

- Beast Academy - Books or online. Very Puzzle oriented. Take a look at their placement tests. I was intrigued by this curriculum because it seems to put a great emphasis on logic. Secular. Expect to spend about $108 dollars for each grade. (4 book levels for each grade, each $27 - 27x4=108) Online version is $15/mo or $96 per year, or $150 for both online and books for the full year.)

- Math Mammoth - Mastery Type Math - Teaches with abacus. Primary School Math only. Can be quite costly. Expect to spend $175 for one year. Placement tests available to test to see where your child stands.
- Singapore Math - Can be quite challenging. Pretty cheap - $12-$27 per year. Many leave this program. I have never used it, but I have helped many who are frustrated with this program. Focuses on math reasoning instead of rote memorization of math facts, but is not considered a living math. One on one teaching required. Comes both common core aligned and non common core aligned. The common core aligned books have poor reviews. Primary School Math only. If you get stuck teaching a method, sometimes youtubing a singapore math method can help to teach reasoning so your child can "get it". Singapore Math has now been replaced with Dimensions math by the same publisher.
