They are not meant to be used by infants in carriers or children who are still in seats which utilize a strap that is connected to a car seat or a 5 point harness. Please only use these with children who are out of safety seats. The only safe way to utilize these is for children who are in upright seats or boosters in which their safety strap is the actual vehicle seat belt strap. They are meant to be used only to cover a seat belt in a vehicle, NOT on a car seat strap. This is an unsafe practice. Do not attempt to use seat belt covers to prevent chaffing from seat belts. If seat belt is rubbing or chaffing then it is being used improperly and seat may need to be reinstalled or repositioned to ensure a better fit.
